Challenge

World Over is a Learning Management System designed to create an engaging, age-appropriate digital learning experience for children. As the Developer, I focused on building a playful yet intuitive interface that promotes learning and independence among young users. One of the major hurdles was creating an interface that catered to different age groups without overwhelming or under-stimulating them. Balancing playful visuals with usability standards was tricky, especially given varying reading levels and cognitive abilities. Accessibility for children with learning difficulties and intuitive navigation for tech-inexperienced users were also key concerns. Aligning expectations between children, teachers, and parents required several design iterations.
