How We Digitized a Traditional Laundry Experience Into a Clean, Trust-Driven Platform That Prioritizes First-Time Usability and Mobile Clarity

Challenge

Freshly Folded is a modern laundry service platform I designed to simplify how users book laundry pickups and manage their clothing care. The goal was to create a clean, intuitive experience that reflects the brand's promise of freshness, convenience, and trust. While designing Freshly Folded, several challenges emerged. First, translating a traditionally offline service like laundry into a seamless digital flow required rethinking customer behavior and expectations. Secondly, communicating service turnaround times, pricing, and delivery options clearly proved difficult without cluttering the interface. Mobile responsiveness also posed a challenge due to the content-heavy nature of service details and freshly folded blogs. Lastly, the visual identity needed to balance cleanliness. Ensuring consistency between visual design and user flow added complexity, especially for new users unfamiliar with online laundry services.
